I second the Brains Brewery suggestion if you come to Wales.

re paratrooper
Maybe MMP could just issue it as a SK special....requires sk1, chapter k (2nd ed) + counters, maps and scenarios included in product. A sort of SK4 if you like

Hi, guys,

I agree with Dave that it's unfortunate MMP does not intend to republish Paratrooper because it's an ideal segue between the starter kits and full ASL. The MMP website has a series of old articles that attempts to teach full ASL through a nine-step programmed instruction that utilizes Paratrooper, BV, and classic scenarios. You know I learned ASL through the Starter Kits, and when I anticipated moving on to full ASL I got copies of the Paratrooper scenarios from a friend. In fact, the first full ASL scenario I played was Confusion Reigns from Paratrooper, and I use those old articles to guide my further learning of the full game.

So my advice is: use your clout and get MMP to post the Paratrooper scenarios on their website. They may sell a few more copies of board 24 that came with the module.

As always, a great podcast that keeps me amused on my commute to work by train. I am sure my fellow commuters think I am going insane as they watch me laughing as I listen on my iPod.

I have a question that perhaps some of your other listeners may be able to help with. I listened with interest to your testing of the latest Schwerpunkt scenarios, but when I checked on their website it is just too much like hard work to order from their site. Does anyone know of a Schwerpunkt reseller where I can purchase online and not have to send a check (cheque, in the UK!!) or money order? The reseller can be in the US or UK.

Again, keep up the good work and I look forward to the next episode or 'Extra'.

I'm now following on twitter. How did the Stikham work?
Another good show. Your art segment is worthy of PBS or NPR. You really should rink a fine wine during that segment or a lovely scotch.
BTW, nice job quoting Steve Martin, "I'll never forget his teaching. He use to tell me, 'Always. No wait, never... Always carry a litterbag in your car..."

Peter - that beer looks mighty fine.

Could I suggest a visit to Wales and the BRAINS brewery?? The Brains SA is an ale that is mighty fine and has been proven to increase any Leaders -1 to at least a -3 !!!!

Results could wear off the following day!

The background music added LOTS to the box art review. That and the beer, I believe. Keep up the great work!
