ASL Extra #9 88’s At Zon + More
Hello! This episode should have photos if you use itunes! We will also put them on the flickr side bar. This episode features Tim Klepaczyk’s Germans defending against Ron Schatz’s Americans in a Starter Kit #2 scenario called 88’s at Zon. Neutral commentary is provided by Dave and special guest Larry Schroeder provides a lively end game analysis. Don’t miss the exiting finish to this game!
Then join us for a round table discussion of ASL in general at the end of this episode. Wow! We’ll be doing a lot more of these in upcoming episodes.
(If you want to download this episode and are not an iPhone/iTunes etc user, you should download the mp3 version from here.)

Thanks for another Extra. The images were great, once I stopped trying to look at my iPhone while driving home. I guess this extra highlights why some folks would rather be lucky than good

The pictures are very cool. Can you give some insight into what it takes to do this? This is the way to do these extras for sure. If you don’t want to post the technical behind the scenes stuff here, please send me an email.

Dear Guys:
I cannot get this extra to play for love or money. Any idea what I might need to download?

Hi David,
Do you have itunes? If so click on the link on the right hand side - under subscribe.
Othewise try clicking the listen button above and give it a few momments.
Or perhaps better if you are having problems - click on the download button above - follow instructions (right click and save as to save it to your hard drive) and then you should be able to play it in Windows Media.
Good luck!!
Cheers
Phil

Kudos! I love listening to your podcast, and I don’t even play ASL.
What? Yeah, it’s true. Though in context I am a tabletop roleplay referee for WFRP and I still immensely enjoy wargames (waiting 3 years for my PanzerBlitz Hill of Death delivery after pre-order at MMP). So, listening to a podcast about a game I don’t play may not be to crazy.
The “video/photo” track on this podcast is precisely the way to go! Kudos too on this enhancement. Keep it up! Even if others are having trouble with the format… tell ‘em to quit their whining and update the codecs in whatever lame player they are using.

Dear Phil:
I followed your directions, and I was able to listen via the hard drive. Thanks for your help.
I cannot burn to a CD however. (The process appears to work, but I get an error message on all of my players when I try to play the CD.) This is no big deal, unless Dave & Jeff make a habit of using this format in the future.
Thanks Again, David
